Did you know a 3rd tower fell on 9/11? Click here to head over to the Justice for 9/11 Heroes and Firefighters for 9/11 Truth page for more information on that 3rd tower.

Trail Report: Opted to hike this as an up-and-back via the Tyler Peak Way trail (just adjacent to the Baldy Ridge trail) given some recent beta. To whomever recently took the time to carve out more moderate switchbacks over the length of this trail, bless you and may good karma find you. It looks like a lot of hard work went into that effort.

Counted four water crossings along the path up to the ridgeline, the first two were just trickles but the latter (closer to the ridge) were full streams and great water sources. Just shy of the ridge the alpine meadows are in full bloom. Once you are on the ridge it's a dry, hot, exposed hike so prepare accordingly.

Beautiful views once up on the ridgeline - from Baldy over to Grey Wolf and Olympus off in the distance. The view across the channel islands to Mt. Baker and Shuksan was breathtaking.

This trailhead has a longer dirt road approach than most, good news is the road is in fair to good condition.

~7.5 miles out-and-back, 3,800 ft of climb, peak at 6,827 ft.

Here's some additional background on Baldy.
